The objective of the Bachelor of Chemistry course is to train professional Chemists (Bachelor in Chemistry) who can work in scientific research and technological development activities, whether in academia, research institutions or industry.

The course is offered full-time (morning and afternoon) and has two qualifications. The Basic Qualification has a regular duration of four years. The Technological Qualification has a regular duration of four and a half years, with emphasis on: (i) Food, (ii) Environmental, (iii) Quality Management and (iv) Materials. A total of 60 vacancies are offered, with entry through the FUVEST entrance exam and also with vacancies offered by SiSU/MEC.
