The structure proposed for this course aims at training engineers who have a strong foundation in basic sciences, such as mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology, in addition to a solid foundation in engineering sciences and, more specifically, in environmental engineering sciences. The objective of this professional is the creation, generation and development of new technologies and the application of consolidated technologies for the prevention and control of environmental pollution. In addition, graduates will be able to participate in environmental characterization studies, in the analysis of susceptibilities and natural vocations of the environment and in the preparation of environmental impact studies. The existence of professionals with these characteristics and skills is increasingly important in the implementation of any model of economic development.
