People may be restricted or prevented from participating in occupations due to changes in body structure and/or functions caused by physical or mental conditions (health) or due to restrictions created by the environment (physical, social, attitudinal, legal, political and cultural).

Throughout the course, which is structured in an integrative matrix, the necessary knowledge for understanding man, his occupations (daily activities) and his active participation in life are addressed.
