Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Ribeirão Preto campus)

The Graduation Course in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)-USP, offers 40 vacancies per year, organized in a semi-annual serial structure, lasting five years. The course takes place in the afternoon-evening period from the first to the fourth year and in the last year (fifth) it takes place full-time.

Curricular contents are offered in a balanced way in different areas, considering the prevalence of different health problems in the population and levels of scientific evidence obtained by physiotherapy in the treatment of each one of them. The Course allows, from the first year, the insertion of the student in different fields of activity to experience the profession. Basic, clinical, specialized concepts related to low, medium and high complexity care and Collective Health are distributed in disciplines that seek to develop in the student a critical reflective spirit in relation to the role of the physiotherapist in the hospital environment and in the National Health context, specifically from the SUS.
