The FZEA offers, since 2009, the graduation course in Veterinary Medicine, with 60 vacancies per year. The course lasts 10 semesters and is taught full-time at the Campus Fernando Costa in Pirassununga. The entrance exam is carried out by FUVEST.

The professional profile intended in the graduation program in Veterinary Medicine contemplates the generalist nature and is increased by three different emphases: Herd Health and Food Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Animal Welfare, and Agribusiness Management and Foreign Trade, which characterize the identity of the FZEA, regarding the interface between the areas of Animal Science, Food Engineering, Veterinary Medicine and Biosystems Engineering. This differential focus was conceived as a result of a careful analysis of the professional performance of the Veterinarianin the country, considering future trends in demand for specialties in the world of work, as widely publicized in different media. It took into account the growing Brazilian vocation in the world supply of food. This professional profile is an important differential in relation to other Veterinary Medicine courses currently existing in our country.
