Degree in Physical Education

The student will receive, in addition to basic knowledge in the area, training focused on Pedagogy with a view to understanding formal education and understanding the relevance of Physical Education as a curricular subject. It will be prepared so that it can act in the creation, planning, implantation, development, administration and evaluation of contents of Physical Education in Schools in kindergarten, elementary and high school.

Its areas of interest are focused on understanding the processes involved in learning, human development and quality of life. The trainee must be able to understand the importance of Physical Education in the process of socialization and teaching-learning. You will be encouraged to carry out an analysis of the psychological, philosophical, historical, biological, social and physical aspects involved in human movement. They should seek constant bibliographic updating, contacts with professionals in the area, participation in scientific initiation, monitoring and events, in order to develop their critical and participative sense.
