The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology responds to the need to integrate in a body of knowledge the advances that are being produced in the field of nanoscience and the technological applications of nanosystems in very diverse fields.

Although some concepts associated with nanoscience and nanotechnology are the object of attention in degree subjects in large areas such as Science and Health Sciences, there is no training offer in the Galician University System that provides a comprehensive view of the body of knowledge of nanoscience or the technological processes of production, characterisation and applications of nanosystems.
