The Master's degree course in Art, Valorisation and the Market provides advanced historical-artistic, economic, managerial and organisational skills specific to the market of cultural professions and the arts system. This is a specialised course that aims to train managers, critics, cultural communicators, gallery owners, museum directors and consultants who know how to manage the relations between art and the market in all its phases. A program of studies that allows to deepen and consolidate theoretical knowledge and allows to acquire methodological practices useful to understand and develop the forms of cultural production, to organize and curate events and art exhibitions, to communicate and disseminate art through new digital systems.

In addition, the degree course in Art, Valorisation and the Market makes use of the collaboration between IULM University and the Triennale di Milano. A partnership that guarantees direct contact with the staff of experts working in the various sectors of the prestigious Foundation. A professionalizing opportunity that enriches the educational offer structured as a whole and in the individual subjects of instruction in a perspective of synergy between academics and professionals of clear reputation.

IULM offers 7 undergraduate programmes (one of them taught also in English) . IULM three-year programmes are ideal for students hoping to work in the fields of art, applied languages, culture, tourism or communications. 


To apply, you would need a high school diploma, obtained after at least 12 years of schooling, a certificate declaring that you have finished secondary school and, if required by law by your country of origin, have successfully completed your university entrance exams.

If you are a European citizen, or even a non-EU resident in Italy, you will need to apply directly to Università IULM. If not, you will need to obtain a study visa, which you obtain by submitting a pre-enrollment application to the Italian embassy or consulate in your home country. Depending on the country, you may also need to take an Italian language proficiency test. 

Università IULM offers 10 international scholarships to outstanding students, covering 50% of their tuition fees in the next year.

If you are not from the European Union, you may need to apply for a study visa with the Italian embassy or consulate in your home country. 

IULM offers 20 scholarships to deserving international students, covering 50% of their tuition fees in their second year of university.
