The PGPAUD Study Program of UPI Tasikmalaya Campus was established on August 15, 2012 with a decree from the Rector of UPI Number 5341/UN40/DT/2012. As part of the UPI Tasikmalaya campus, the history of PGPAUD is also inseparable from the history of the UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. The PGPAUD Study Program of UPI Tasikmalaya Campus is located at Jl. Dadaha No. 18 Telephone/fac 0265-331860 Tasikmalaya City 46115 The main study of the PG PAUD Study Program is the development of students, the development of physical motor skills, emotions, religion, social, cognitive and language of early childhood as well as early childhood education management.

The UPI Tasikmalaya Campus's PGPAUG undergraduate program is designed to produce competent, professional, and devout early childhood education graduates. Graduates are expected to be teachers, assistant teachers, and caregivers for early childhood education in kindergartens (TK)/Raudhatul Atfal (RA) and other equivalent institutions, playgroups (KB), and childcare centers (TPA). They are also skilled in conducting research and developing early childhood education.

Mastery of the complete figure of academic, professional and character competencies of teachers as described is obtained through two forms of learning processes, namely: (1) academic education (face-to-face lectures), and (2) in practice applying academic abilities in authentic contexts through a systematic Professional Training Program (PLP) in Child Care Centers (TPA), Playgroups, Raudhatul-Athfal (RA) or in Kindergarten. Both the mastery of academic and professional competencies referred to are achieved through a systematic and rigorous pre-service education program.
