VISION

In 2024 the realization of USU's Master of Sociology FISIP as a center for sociology studies that has excellent graduates and as a research reference center as well as a model for community empowerment in Western Indonesia and proactively responds to the challenges of the times.

MISSION

• USU's Master of Sociology Study Program is a center for Sociology education whose graduates are able to keep up with scientific developments in the field of Sociology and respond to social dynamics that occur in society at the local and national levels. As well as being able to examine social changes that occur in a global society, with a professional postgraduate education management system based on accountability and transparency.
• USU's Master of Sociology Study Program is able to develop research and community service to support education and scientific progress for stakeholders.
• USU's Master of Sociology Study Program has become a reference center for research and development models, for community empowerment in Western Indonesia.
