With a methodology that guarantees individual attention and monitoring of students and importance is given to participative attitudes, this master's degree provides training focused on the competent implication of philosophy in social, ethical and epistemological issues in professional and practical spheres of life and today's world. From the fields of bioethics, animal ethics, economics ethics, applied aesthetics, the audiovisual culture and technoscience, and feminism and gender and LGTBIQ+ studies, students will acquire the essential tools needed grasp and have an impact on cognitive and regulatory issues related to changes and transformations in the currently existing economic, social, political, technical and ideological fields which demand deep thought. The master's degree is part of the EuroPhilosophie studies and the Master Mundus in German and French Philosophy: Contemporary Issues (PhiAFEC). Therefore, students will be able to enjoy an international learning environment and, thanks to a grants programme offered exclusively at the UAB, students can also take advantage of a short research stay at the coordinating centre, the University of Toulouse - Jean Jaurès.

Depending on the regulations of each home university, especially if there is a mobility agreement with the UAB, students will be able to transfer the credits earned during their stay to their current degree.
