The bachelor's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the UAB offers:

  • Interdisciplinary training: physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
  • Contents focused on the study of phenomena and manipulation of materials at atomic, molecular and macromolecular scale.
  • Training of professionals for the new industry and society of knowledge:
  1. Communication technologies.
  2. Energy production and storage.
  3. Creation of new materials.
  4. Nanometric scale manufacturing.
  5. Development of scientific problem-solving tools.
  6. Technology of foods.
  7. Water and environmental technologies.
  8. Improvements in security.
  • Specific training in fundamental concepts, principles, theories and techniques related to nanoscience and nanotechnology.
  1. Synthesise and characterise materials at nanometric scale and study its properties.
  2. Manipulate tools and materials in testing laboratories with the aim of studying phenomena at nanometric scale.
  3. Interpret data obtained through experimental measures.

Depending on the regulations of each home university, especially if there is a mobility agreement with the UAB, students will be able to transfer the credits earned during their stay to their current degree.
