The EU Gimbernat is a pioneering centre in the introduction of physiotherapy studies in Catalonia. The centre offer an excellent opportunity to improve this integrated training programme, fostering not only the acquisition of cognitive skills, but also the development of personal skills, a positive attitude and consideration for professional values. The bachelor's degree meets all the regulatory standards of the profession: it equips you with the skills needed to value the functional state of the patient/user and the knowledge needed to design the most adequate treatment plan. To do so, the degree offers several methods and procedures which can lead you to choose between clinical therapy and health promotion and maintenance. A great amount of lecturers combine teaching with professional physiotherapy practices or other health related activities. Once you graduate, you will have the possibility of taking one of the five specialisations which will help you delve deeper into aspects such as therapies related to the musculoskeletal system and thorax, or neurological, paediatric or sports physiotherapy. You also will be able to continue your studies through a variety of master's degrees, research and PhD programmes. The EU Gimbernat offers a variety of graduate programmes, including six university-specific master's degrees.
