Advances have been made in the field of brain science studies, which represent a major public health issue. The Cellular and Integrated Neurosciences (NCI) course aims to give the student solid skills in fundamental and clinical neurosciences.

The lessons are multidisciplinary ranging from the molecule to the behavior taking into account the different degrees of complexity of communication within the nervous system. Students wishing to complete their training or reinforce their knowledge may also follow optional courses chosen from the common base of courses offered in the other courses. The teaching areas covered are all represented in the host laboratories attached to the Université Côte d'Azur. The teachers in this course, researchers and teacher-researchers, work on the subject of study they teach and the teaching materials are recent scientific publications in English, thus making it possible to be as close as possible to recent advances in the areas studied.
