The Master of Life Sciences (SV) is a clearly displayed training " by and for research " and whose main objective is to train students so that they can continue their training in doctorate in order to exercise the professions of researcher in the public or private sector, teacher-researcher at the University and all research professions with a high level of scientific expertise accessible at the end of a thesis. In order to meet the different challenges of local research, the Life Sciences Master is available in different courses which will allow students to specialize in 5 scientific fields at the forefront of current research. The Master's in Life Sciences benefits from strong roots in the research environment of the Nice region through the participation of researchers and lecturer-researchers in the teaching, thus enabling it to be as close as possible to scientific and technological advances.

The disciplinary theoretical courses are organized in about forty Teaching Units (UE) given in the first semester. This wide choice of teaching units allows students to invest heavily in their scientific orientation through an à la carte training course. Journey differentiation is based on a combination of and free EU among all those proposed in the training, and this, from M1.

Students also have the possibility of following teaching units offered in the form of summer schools or modules offered within the framework of the University Research Schools with which the Life Sciences Master is linked.
