Master's in Geography

The MA in Geography includes two modalities. It is intended either for students who are aiming for a research-oriented training (specialization in a specific field), or for those who are aiming for a more multidisciplinary and applied training.

Goals:

Modality with dissertation

The modality with dissertation aims at training focused on research and specialization in a specific field.

Modality with internship

The modality with internship aims at a multidisciplinary and more applied training.

• A research infrastructure enhanced by several laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (modelling, geomatics, remote sensing, aerobiology, soil science, palynology, river hydrology, cryology). 
• Access to the geomatics services and software of  the computer laboratory, the  Library  and the  Map Library .
• The possibility of participating or making presentations at conferences, in Quebec and abroad.
