Master of Laws - Taxation

Taxation is a discipline that falls under both accounting and law.

It is for this reason that the Faculty of Law and HEC Montréal have joined forces to create a joint master's program.

The Taxation option of the Master's in Tax Law is intended for practitioners specializing in the field of taxation and aims to provide high-calibre training, to develop critical thinking, to allow increased specialization, as well as to confer a high degree of professional autonomy. The target clienteles are law or accounting science graduates who, with or without work experience, wish to make taxation their main field of activity.

The courses of this option are sometimes given by lawyers, sometimes by experts in management or accounting sciences. The students come from different disciplines: law, management, accounting sciences. This program therefore offers a stimulating environment.
