MA in Hispanic Studies

The MA in Hispanic Studies aims to enable the student to deepen their general knowledge or to specialize in one or more aspects of Hispanic Studies: 

• linguistic 
• philology
• culture 
• translation 
• Spanish as a foreign language.

Goals:

Language and Literature option - with thesis

The objectives of the program are to allow the student to deepen his general knowledge and to specialize in research in a field of Spanish and Hispano-American literature or to work on other aspects of the studies Hispanics, such as linguistics, philology, culture, translation and Spanish as a foreign language.

Language and literature option - with directed work

This modality aims to deepen the general education acquired in the 1st cycle and is mainly intended for candidates who are moving towards professions other than higher education and research: teaching, services in public or non-governmental organizations. However, this modality does not exclude the possibility of going to a 3rd cycle.

Spanish as a second language option - with internship

This option aims to provide theoretical and practical training specific to the teaching of Spanish as a second language, mainly at college level. This master's degree with internship does not normally lead to the 3rd cycle.
