The Master's in Education, practical option and current educational issues, consisting solely of courses, is a 45-credit continuing education program aimed at all professionals working in schools, regardless of their sector of activity, who wish to develop their knowledge and skills to deal with some of the major current issues encountered in this environment.


This program makes it possible to develop or consolidate skills around five major issues in education:

  • equity, diversity and inclusion,
  • the relevance and implementation of interventions with learners,
  • assessment practices,
  • collaboration between the various actors in the educational environment,
  • the use of digital technology in education.

It also allows them to integrate research more effectively into their professional practice.


This professional master's degree allows students to pursue their continuing education at their own pace by choosing their personal development target.


Its structure is designed to accommodate eligible students who have completed the DESS, practical option and current educational issues.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Academic Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
  • hold an undergraduate degree in education adequately preparing for training in the management of a school establishment, or attest to training deemed equivalent;
  • have obtained, in the 1st cycle, an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 (or the equivalent) or the average required by the home university for admission to a 2nd cycle program, if that -this is higher;
  • have relevant experience as an education professional of at least two years;
  • pass, for any non-French-speaking candidate, a French as a second or foreign language test and present a result of C1 in written and oral comprehension AND in written and oral production on a standardized test such as the TEF, the TCF or the DALF.
