The Master's program in International Studies is offered in partnership with the Catholic University of Louvain/Saint-Louis University – Brussels (UCL).

The master's program in international studies aims to develop in the student a more advanced international competence. Emphasis is placed, thanks to an interdisciplinary approach, on the acquisition of analytical and synthesis skills that allow understanding the complex dynamics of international relations and exchanges.

Lasting two years, the master gives the right to a double degree. The first year, focusing on international studies, takes place in Quebec and the second year, focusing on European studies, takes place in Belgium, the host country of the European institutions.

The originality of this transatlantic master's degree in European and international studies is based on the fact that the training is not simply concentrated on international relations in the political and historical sense of the term, but is also based on more culturalist, legal and economic approaches. The international and transatlantic training that characterizes this double degree is based on close collaboration between teacher-researchers from the Jean Monnet Center in Montreal, the Center for International Studies and Research at the University of Montreal (CÉRIUM), the 'Interfaculty School in European Studies, of the Louvain-Europe Institute of Political Science and of the Institute of European Studies of Saint-Louis .
