To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be admitted as a regular student to the MA (comparative education and foundations of education), the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies;
  • hold an undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Education, or another undergraduate degree that adequately prepares for the studies they wish to undertake, or provide evidence of training deemed equivalent;
  • have obtained an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 1st cycle;
  • demonstrate good knowledge of the French and English languages.
