Master's Degree in Vision Sciences

A program attached to the School of Optometry, whose mission revolves around three axes:

• teaching,
• the research,
• the radiation.

Goals: Fundamental, applied and clinical sciences This option aims, by carrying out research work, to train candidates wishing to pursue a career in vision sciences at a fundamental, applied or clinical level. Possible topics for research activities are: ocular blood flow, visual neurophysiology, ocular optics, physiology of the cornea and contact lenses, visual psychophysics, rehabilitation of visual impairment, technology of ophthalmic products.

The School achieves its mission by pursuing objectives of relevance, quality and openness, and seeks to position the University of Montreal, within the Francophonie and internationally, among the leaders for training and research in the field of vision sciences, eye health and visual impairment rehabilitation.
