The program aims to acquire basic training in this discipline and to introduce students to research in one or other of the fields of study of physiology: cell physiology and membrane transport, physiology of systems cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive and endocrine. During their training, students acquire general knowledge of physiology and in-depth knowledge in the field of their specialization, complete a research project, and develop their oral and written communication skills. At the end of their training, these students can pursue doctoral studies, work as a research assistant within a team, teach physiology at the college level.

Molecular Physiology and Biophysics

Option The Option provides students with the basic data and resources necessary to develop their creative talents within a research project at the cutting edge of current knowledge, with respect to the structure and the function of different membrane proteins under normal and pathophysiological conditions.

Cardiovascular Physiology Option

The Option provides students with the basic knowledge and resources necessary to develop their creative talents within a research project at the cutting edge of current knowledge in the cardiovascular field. Laboratory work will be valued and will focus on the molecular, cellular and/or integrative mechanisms of cardiovascular function. This includes the hormonal and neural mechanisms of cardiovascular regulation in normal and pathophysiological conditions.
