To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.0 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Accepted diploma: Baccalaureate, Bachelor; duration of 3 years, or other undergraduate degree deemed equivalent.

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student for the master's degree in urban planning, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (section XI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold an undergraduate degree adequately preparing for studies in town planning, or a diploma deemed equivalent
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle, an average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or the equivalent or the average required by the original university for admission to a 2nd cycle program, if this this is higher
