Master's Degree in Planning, Urban Design option

The skills targeted by the program relate mainly to the analysis of urban form, the structuring of collective urban space, urban composition, the evaluation and management of urbanization projects, the all in transdisciplinary professional groups.

The acquisition of these skills is based on knowledge of the processes of formation of urban ensembles, seen from a historical and systemic perspective, as well as on an understanding of the factors and dynamics of actors involved in these processes.

In the interdisciplinary approach, the accent is placed on the joint exercise, by all the partners, of an ability to analyze urban complexes with a view to producing clear diagnoses, formulating project orientations, the development of thoughtful, even innovative projects, including measures of implementation, management and continuous evaluation.
