The Baccalaureate in initial training of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences aims to train clinical nurses capable of intervening by exercising informed clinical judgment, through:

• The use of various information and communication technologies in educational learning activities,
• New high-realism simulation laboratories benefiting from the latest technologies and accessible from the first trimester of the program,
• Innovative and varied teaching approaches, with some online content,
• Diversified internship environments from the first trimester,
• Small group learning from a wide range of clinical situations.

The possibility for students to choose, at the end of the program, one of the following paths (orientations):

• Clinical  path: regular path that leads to the practice of the nursing profession,
• International path :  A course and an internship that allow the student to include an international perspective in their training,
• Honors path: set of courses and a research practicum that encourage excellence and facilitate access to graduate studies. It totals at least 12 credits of a degree program.

It is also a renewed program for fall 2020 which emphasizes:

• A more stable schedule that allows a better reconciliation of studies with personal life and work,
• Increased proximity to teachers through learning in small groups and close pedagogical support,
• A dynamic faculty life and a strong sense of belonging.
