The master of public health (MPH) degree in environmental and occupational health provides graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to investigate and manage these human health hazards, in an effort to reduce their exposure and promote healthy living. Students will be trained in the theories, concepts and practices of exposure evaluation and health risk assessment. Graduates from this program emerge with broad skill sets in environmental health, in addition to fundamental training in epidemiology, health policy and management, biostatistics and health promotion. Graduates work with health practitioners, researchers and policy makers to develop, evaluate and monitor health policies, programs and practices related to healthy environments.
