Students in this program major in Human Dimensions of Environmental Management and focus on promoting stewardship of Indigenous lands within the context of government policies and industrial development. Emphasis is placed on understanding how Indigenous history, politics and cultural values influence natural resource management. As part of this program, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a three-week environmental field school. We are student-centered, with a close-knit community of students, professors, and staff. We host regular Tea and Bannock potlucks, an annual tipi raising and take-down, and Games Night with the Dean.
