This is a distance-learning master's programme for aspiring or practising translators. It is suitable for graduates in any discipline offering one or two of the following languages in addition to English: Czech, French, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish. This programme combines language-specific practice with training in translation theory and translation technologies. The programme is taught entirely online and students are not required to come to campus. The University has corporate membership of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and institutional membership of the American Translators’ Association (ATA).
