MPhil in Primary Care Research

The course provides training in primary care research using a variety of teaching and learning methods based around small group seminars, lectures, one-to-one supervisions, project work and self-directed learning; currently it is a part-time course taken over 2 academic years; it may soon be available on a one-year full-time basis; in addition to the course fee (university composition fee), students may have to pay a college fee; throughout the course students are able to draw on expertise within the department of public health and primary care, school of clinical medicine and wider university, and each student has a senior member of the primary care unit as their academic supervisor.
