The major aim of the BSc in Geography program is to provide the student with applied skills in physical and human geography and the skills of modern technologies in remote sensing and geographic information systems. Fields of work: "Teaching, Department of Statistics, Royal Jordanian Geographical Center". The Department of Geography seeks to be one of the distinguished departments of geography at the global level and to be a major center for learning, and for graduates of the department to be able to compete successfully with graduates of international universities.
Program message The Department of Geography, through the application of effective teaching strategies and active learning, and using modern geographic laboratories, develops students' general skills: such as critical thinking, creative thinking, effective communication skills, and others. The department also develops students' specialized skills in the field of geography and in the fields of modern geographic technologies, such as remote sensing and geographic information systems. The department also works to provide its students with specialized geographical knowledge so that they are able to work in different fields and to enroll in postgraduate programs at the University of Jordan and other prestigious international universities. The department works hard to develop the lofty values ​​of the students, especially the teachings of pure Islam, love of the homeland and belief in Arab unity and others, and to develop the benign attitudes of these students, especially in the areas of tolerance, acceptance of the other opinion, cooperative work and others.
