BSc (Hons) Management is a broad-based course which allows students to study the full range of management subjects. However, students can also choose to specialise in accounting and finance, human resources, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship, international business economics, international studies or marketing. Students can choose a specialism will be reflected in their degree title e.g. BSc (Hons) Management (Marketing) - however, if they do not wish to specialise, they will graduate in BSc (Hons) Management. Since the Management and Management (Specialism) degrees are identical in the first year, transfer between them is straightforward. This course aims to promote critical awareness of the merits and complexities of management and to instil an appreciation of the association between theory and practice. It aims to introduce students to important new developments in the field of management and to enable them to develop appropriate practical and transferable skills.
