The department was established in 1995-1996 and aims to consolidate faith and belief in the minds and souls of learners, deepen their understanding of Islamic law and its provisions, and form their awareness and commitment to apply it in the areas of their private and public lives in order to achieve for them the meanings of guidance, integrity and guidance, and gain them tranquility and happiness in the two homes,  as it contributes to the preparation of educational teaching staff distinguished by Islamic culture, undertaking to build specialized generations with the necessary sober knowledge. And the infallibility of young people from slipping into principles and ideas that are alien to our cultural heritage, hostile to our religion, and remove the suspicions raised by the enemies of Islam, graduated the first course for students of preliminary studies in 1999/1998 and the evening study was opened since 2003-2004 /

 

Admission to the department

The department contributes to the acceptance of graduate students from preparatory in its two branches (biological and applied scientific) and literary and the first graduates  of the institutes of teachers teachers and teachers  licensed academically.

 

 

Duration of study

 In the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education: four years annual study  system, total study hours  (113) hours by (85) theoretical hours and (28) practical hours and the total number of units of the program for four years approved (185) units necessary to complete the program.

 

Qualification Certificate

Which the student obtains upon completion of the program: Bachelor of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education

Admission Requirements

Regarding the bachelor’s program, there are no requirements other than completing and passing high school and obtaining a grade that qualifies for admission to the college. There are interview committees that interview students applying to the program and decide whether the applicant is eligible for admission or not

For Iraqi nationalities, the student must be a graduate of the sixth grade of middle school , and the student must have a medical examination report, and submit copies of the personal identity or unified national card, residence card, ration card,  and personal photos (8 photos) The student must pass the sixth preparatory stage with a specific score (which varies from one year to another) and from the scientific or applied education category, For foreign nationalities, he must submit copies of personal identity and passport and the student submits his approved documents certified by the concerned authorities in his country and the Iraqi embassy or attaché in that country, and the university undertakes the procedures for the validity of the issuance of students' documents within a period of time not exceeding the first academic year Personal photo, for foreign nationalities there are three types of application Study in Iraq, first Free with an average grade 60% as minimum and age not exceed 30 years ,  second Semi free,  (500 USD each stage of study (the study includes 4 stages of study )) No age and grade limits. third: On expense: (1000 USD for each stage of study (the study includes 4 stages of study)). No age and grade limits.
