About The University of Northampton
Located in an ancient market town steeped in social, political and industrial history of the nation, the University of Northampton is actually one of the UK’s youngest universities.
Since its establishment, it’s been rapidly building a reputation for its innovative teaching and learning style that has ‘de-formalised’ and personalised the higher education experience for its students. So much so, that in the UK government’s recent Teaching Excellence Framework exercise, the only official ranking of UK universities, the University of Northampton received the highest possible award, TEF Gold.
Having harnessed novel technologies that injects interest and introduces flexibility into the theoretical practices of learning, students are able to study and work wherever they want, whenever they want, with whoever they want. This gives students a deeper, more meaningful relationship with lecturers and professors, more time to explore, challenge and question, whilst leaving space and time for individual support, advice and guidance.
With that, the University of Northampton is proud to offer a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs across four faculties: Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology, Faculty of Health and Society, and Faculty of Education and Humanities.
ADMISSIONS:
The University of Northampton welcomes applications from all over the world, with country-specific application guidance available on the university’s website.
There is no application fee, and students who wish to apply to study at the University of Northampton should do so via the application form (either online, via an in-country representative, or via UCAS). You will also need to submit a copy of the photo page of your passport, and evidence of your academic qualifications achieved to date.
As a UK university, the medium of instruction is English, so international students will need to provide evidence of English proficiency. If you require additional English tuition to prepare you for your course, the university offers Pre-Sessional English Programmes to help develop the skills you need to progress.
Additional funding and scholarships are also available to help with tuition fees and living costs. The University of Northampton’s International Scholarship scheme automatically allocates a tuition fee discount of up to 30 percent for students with high levels of academic achievement. These scholarships are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, are unlimited in number and apply for all years of your on-campus tuition.
