Dietetics and Holistic Wellness covers all information related with diet planning and its effects on health. The specialization prepares students to use advanced knowledge about food and diet to help, prevent as well as treat diseases and maintain holistic wellness. Dietetics is a science that deals with the adequacy of diet during normal life cycle and modifications required during diseased condition. Holistic wellness is associated with an active process of being aware and making choices that lead toward an outcome of optimal holistic health and wellbeing. This specialization enables students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, dietary assessment and diet planning.
