Tech. in Renewable Energy Engineering provides the in-depth knowledge of various domains of Renewable Energy Sources like Solar, Wind, Hydro, Biofuel, Hydrogen etc.
This program is equipped with advance tools and lab setup equipped with advance testing kits and provision of engaging the students in real time field visits to perform the feasibility study of various Renewable Energy Systems. This program offers the blend of placement opportunities in various verticals of Renewable Energy Engineering to work as an Energy Specialist, Energy Consultant, Project Manager, Lead Energy Auditor (ISO-50001 global level), Renewable Energy Products Manager, RE project developer etc.
Learners will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge in Renewable Energy Technology, Solar PV and Solar Thermal Systems, Wind Energy Systems, Biomass Conversion Technology, Green Buildings, Project and Financial Management, Smart Grid etc. Students has the opportunity to work in funded research projects and consultancy projects from Government and other funding agencies with wide opportunity to go for higher studies.
The Smart Grid specialization focuses on efficient use of energy and precise control along with digitalization.
