Industrial Chemistry is a three-year full-time undergraduate B.Sc. honours program in Chemistry, based on UGC’s Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). In the CBCS system, students will have the freedom to choose core, elective and skill-based courses. In addition, the students are also offered specialisations in Industrial Chemistry. Interested students are provided support in the preparation for the JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. programs) entrance exam as well as placement in industries.
B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry in Industrial Chemistry is designed for students who want to pursue Chemistry for a deeper understanding and knowledge of the subject. The students through this program will get an opportunity to have in-depth knowledge of Industrial Chemistry. The program involves green methods for chemical synthesis as well as improved chemical processes that save energy and reduce pollution.
