Gain hands-on experience applying the latest innovative thinking, test new ideas, hone your creative problem-solving skills, and drive business growth in any organisation or industry.

Whether you want to develop a new product, tackle a social problem or lead business transformation, this program will have a profound effect on how you practice business.

This customisable, interdisciplinary program utilises UQ's leading position in science commercialisation to provide you with a safe place to develop, test and implement new ideas.

Select courses from across emerging fields to create a bespoke program tailored to your specific goals, including an optional research or industry consultancy project.

Alternatively, you can specialise in one of 7 unique fields of study or complete a research pathway in preparation for a PhD. Based on your prior professional experience, whether in business or a more technical field, you can choose fields of study that complement and extend your capabilities.

In the capstone course, you’ll gain practical experience by working on your own idea or ground-breaking technologies developed by partner organisations. You'll create a business model based on in-depth customer interviews, rapid prototyping and agile development.

You'll graduate with a globally desired qualification and the skills to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship across industries and organisations of any size — from small startups and social enterprises, to public organisations and multinational enterprises.

Also offered as a 6-month Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
