Generally, students applying to the University of Tasmania must satisfy the general entry requirements for their chosen course.

For students who do not meet our academic requirements for entry into their chosen course, the Foundation Studies Program is designed to help you upgrade your academic skills to commence a University of Tasmania degree course after 28 weeks of study.

If on the other hand your English language skills need to be improved before you can gain entry to your chosen course, the English Language Centre (ELC) UTASAccess-Direct Entry program will provide you with an alternative pathway into an undergraduate degree with us.
