At the end of the program, the students will have completed the cultural profile: - with a general and professional culture in the field of Food Chemistry, where the fundamental sciences of the first and second year will be at the service of this discipline; - with a general and professional culture in the field of Food Technologies, which includes production technologies of basic products of daily consumption, called "convenience" and some specific technologies of those products that in the conditions of a food market economy are considered advantaged for consumption both in terms of the production method and the possibility to be consumed by average levels of the population; - with a general and professional culture in the field of Food Microbiology, where the general aspect consists of taxonomic studies of industrial microorganisms and then in-depth knowledge of microorganisms that participate in the enzymatic processes of food-based industries and those of a polluting nature.
