That's why, we offer a curriculum for Collaborative Teacher Special Education that leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Collaborative Teacher Special Education. When you successfully complete the program, you will be certified by the Alabama State Department of Education to teach in an elementary, middle or high school in Alabama, or in any state with which Alabama has a reciprocity agreement. You will hold a certificate that allows you to be employed to teach grades K-6 and/or 6-12. Candidates holding this degree can work in school settings, facilities for children with severe disabilities, and in camps and enrichment programs. Salaries are dependent upon the school system. Advanced degrees increase salaries and can place an individual in a position for promotion.

Freshman must submit the following: Application and $30 Application Fee (application available online); Official high school transcripts (students must submit an official high school transcript showing course work through the time of application and submit a final transcript after graduation showing graduation date and diploma type); Submit official college and institution transcripts (if application); ACT or SAT scores; AND Immunization Record and Medical History completed through Student Medical Report and Immunization Form.
