The Master of Primary Teaching is a two-year graduate entry initial teacher education program that prepares graduates to teach years K - 6 in Primary Schools. This course is fully accredited by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) for primary teacher registration. It includes 60 days of professional experience (teaching) in primary school contexts and this is complemented by units that focus on developing pedagogical content knowledge through lectures and workshops that include simulations, microteaching, problem-based learning and case study analysis.
