The BSc Life Sciences with Industrial/Professional Experience course will enable students to gain experience of the workplace on a year-long placement during their degree. This course is ideal if they are committed to studying the biological sciences but have not yet decided on the area in which they want to specialise. The combination of units taken in the first year will enable students to transfer to most of the biological and biomedical sciences courses. This course is modular. Students will study compulsory course units and choose some optional units. Most units are assigned 10 credits and students will take 120 credits each year.
