Arab Region
Now featuring nearly 150 universities, the

QS Arab Region University Rankings 2018

highlights the best universities in this region.

There’s relatively little movement at the top of this year’s Arab Region University Rankings, with only one new entrant in the top 10: Sultan Qaboos University is ranked 10th, an improvement on one place since last year. There is a change at the very top of the ranking too, with last year’s second-placed American University of Beirut (AUB) rising one place. Eight other Lebanese universities are included in this year’s ranking.

This year’s rankings were compiled by assessing universities on eight different indicators, including the number of academic papers published per faculty member and their online presence. More information about the methodology can be found here.
