An astonishing 12 of the top 15 universities for economics & econometrics this year are based in the United States. Only the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge manage to prevent the top of the ranking from being completely dominated by the US, all three of which are based in the UK. In total, 149 universities from the UK and the US are included in the ranking below.
