Music at Sheffield gives you the freedom to explore new ideas, to develop as a musician, and learn the transferable skills that will help you turn your passion into a rewarding career. We teach music education, music technology, and music business, as well as purely academic subjects such as ethnomusicology. Studying music and philosophy will give you a firm grasp on both subjects. Half your modules will be in music, the other half in philosophy. A personal tutor will work with you over the three years to help you make the most of this combination.
