BSc (Hons) Biology Education with QTS is a fast-track route into teaching, taking just three years to be a fully qualified teacher. During this course students will gain an understanding of the skills necessary to operate as a critically reflective Biology teacher. This course will give students a strong understanding of how to teach Biology in secondary schools and why it is important. This course is taught via a mix of lectures, seminars and workshops as well as project and individual work. Students will also undertake placements within a school. Student’s progress will be assessed by project work, essays and observed placements.
