This BA (Hons) 2+2 Social Studies is intended for those without formal qualifications and wish to study locally for a university degree. The first two years are taught at a local college enabling students to gain the skills and confidence to prepare them for the final two years here at the University. All students start with the BA (Hons) Social Studies and are then able to transfer to the more specialised BA (Hons) Health and Social Policy in their 3rd year if they wish. The degree takes four years to complete. The first two years are at one of Warwick’s partner colleges, enabling students to gain confidence in coping with academic study, presentation skills and study skills in a local environment. Students will then study years three and four at the University of Warwick.
