The Creative and Professional Writing &, Media, Film and Television Studies degree course provides an opportunity for students to develop their own talent for writing, alongside a disciplined engagement with Film analysis and theory. The programme offers a supported, stimulating and multicultural environment in which students can create different forms and styles of writing, whilst developing a scholarly understanding of film. Students will learn to communicate more effectively in writing, and enable students to enhance their own creative and critical judgement. Students will develop a range of subject specific and transferable skills, including higher order conceptual and communication skills, enterprise, digital literacy and IT awareness, all of which are of immense value in graduate employment.
