This course will develop students’ knowledge and skills in a way which helps them to bring together theory and practice in the field of palliative and end of life care. The course aims to provide students with an award that will give them the necessary professional values, communication and interpersonal skills for caring for this client group, through developing your knowledge and understanding in the areas of symptom management, dealing with loss and grief, and the development of enhanced communication skills, all of which contribute to effective decision making in delivering specialist palliative and end of life care.
